Bio:
My first real job was as an Arabic linguist for the United States Army. After that, I became a housewife, mother, and finally a computer science student. I did not touch a computer seriously until the age of 26. Since then I have grown from an occasional end user into a serious developer.

I started playing muds February of 1996. As a player, I enjoy DaleMUDS the most. As an administrator, I would not go near one with a ten foot pole. My building experience includes the following codebases: DaleMUD, KatMUD, HybridMUD (a Circle mud derivative), and CircleMud. I am currently working on an original codebase with my husband. Part of that involves designing an original world. In order to create a complex and unique world, I am reading books on history, language, mythology, theology, and philosophy. The research gives me an good excuse to read a lot of cool books. :)
